Presence vs Promises

What importance do you place on the promises you received from God in your life? There is nothing wrong with reminding God about His promises, but to seek Him, to know Him and to understand Him is far superior to any promise. Your relationship with the Father should not be dependent on the manifestation of His promises in your life. When you position yourself where God’s heart aligns with your heart, your focus will be to seek God and know Him. The manifestation of promises will flow from that. You were called by God, to manifest Him. Therefore He has a vested interest in you and will always protect that which you carry inside you – the Gospel of Jesus Christ and your ability to manifest Him in the hearts of others. To prevent burnout, it is crucial to be in sync with God’s rhythm, season & timelines. Are you faithful with that which aligns with God’s heart? Is God present in the things you find yourself involved in? Do you have the patience to wait upon Him? Some of your challenges may be from God. He will strip away the things that stand between you and a personal, intimate relationship with Him. Seeking God, and not pursuing His promises, is the solution to this world.
