Dedication & Purification

Hi, this is Carl Kreinacker, and I'd like to use this opportunity to share a bit about what God shared with me about 2019. I'm sure every one of us receives, to some extent, a unique message from the Holy Spirit, and we make it our own in terms of what we receive. But I would like to share a bit about what the Lord shared with me, and maybe there's something from that – even if it's one or two components – that you can take, which would hopefully confirm some of the things the Lord has already spoken to you.

Let me start by saying it was interesting that the Lord showed me a variety of pictures, all of which brought across the same message or concept. So I'm first going to share with you the pictures and the concepts the Lord shared with me, so that you can start understanding a bit about it.

Firstly, the Lord showed me a city protected by a wall built around it. A lot of it relates to the concept we read about in Nehemiah 2-4, where they rebuild the walls around Jerusalem – you can read a bit about that. That was the first picture: the city with walls established around it.

The second concept the Lord showed me was literally like this: a person standing with his arms like this, and whatever is on the inside is being protected. That brings about the same concept, of protection around something on the inside.

The next picture was a fountain – like these small fountains where the water bubbles out in the middle. Around it there's a low wall around that fountain, but the wall is lifted from the ground a bit, and you can see the wall around the water, with the fresh water just bubbling up on the inside of that.

Then the Lord showed me a picture of gold – these pots, probably not the right word, but the containers where they melt gold. I could see that container with the melted gold. It's hot, it's melted, and then all the impurities start coming to the top, and they can be skimmed off.

The last picture I saw was of a sports stadium, a circular stadium – something like the Green Point Stadium in Cape Town – with all the lights on the inside switched on, and it's night outside. On the inside of the stadium you can see these bright lights shining upwards.

All of those pictures more or less create the same concept, the same picture that the Lord wanted to portray to me.

One thing I experienced very strongly about 2019 is that the Lord wants to separate us. He wants to separate us from the world. All the pictures I was shown relate to something being on the inside, and whatever is not on the inside is on the outside of that. So there's a very clear-cut separation between that which is on the inside and that which is on the outside, which I think is significant. We can talk a bit about that as we continue.

There's also a strong concept or principle about that which is on the inside being purified. There's a cleansing, a purification that takes place – similar to the fresh water on the inside of the fountain, and the gold as it is melted and the impurities come to the top and are skimmed off.

There's definitely a core concept for this year in terms of purification of what is on the inside. We have to understand that what I have in my heart is precious. It is precious, it is life, it is light, and it is pure. One of the things I experienced relating to that is our responsibility to protect, at all cost, that which is on the inside. We can elaborate a bit more on that.

What I believe strongly God is saying to us relating to this message for the year is – you know the Word says God is a jealous God, and God wants to separate us from the world in order to establish His purpose. That's something we need to understand: it's about God, it's about His purpose, but God is using us in this world to establish His purpose.

God wants to separate us from the world this year in order to establish that purpose. There are a number of scriptures relating to the fact that we are a chosen people, set aside for God's purpose – you can read them below. I'll put the text in there for you to go and read up on: Deuteronomy 7, Psalm 33:12, Isaiah 43:21, and 1 Peter 2:9, all of which speak to the fact that we have been set aside, that we are God's people for God's purpose.

He wants His kingdom to be visibly separated from the world. He wants His kingdom, His people, to look different from the rest of the world. Too often we, as the children of God, with the Kingdom of God established in us in this earth, don't look different from what the rest of the world looks like.

Similar to what Romans 12:1-2 explains to us – to set ourselves apart, to dedicate ourselves to the Lord – it says:

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that we may prove what is the good, acceptable, and the perfect will of God.”

So we need to have an expectation this year about our focus and our dedication to the unification of the body of Christ – the body of Christ standing up together as one body. We need to come to a place where God can function through us in this earth and establish Himself here to the extent that He wants to.

I think we can all agree that the world, and Christianity, the body of Christ, is not looking the way the Word describes to us it should look. We haven't come into the position that Ephesians speaks about. So we need to dedicate ourselves. We need a focus of a unified body – not all of us building our own little kingdoms and having our own focuses, but literally focusing on being unified, being one body, and allowing God to bring everything together to function towards the fullness of Christ, as Ephesians explains.

We need to understand it's not optional, it's not a nice-to-have, for us to activate every single member in the body of Christ, to allow every joint to supply, as it's described in Ephesians. That is our responsibility to work towards.

“Till we come to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.”

“By which every part does its share, every joint supplies.”

The times are gone of one person in front, one person in a congregation doing everything, being the only solution. It is every part, it is every joint that needs to supply.

And we know where the kingdom needs to come to. In Daniel 2:35, it explains clearly about the rock that was cut out, not by hands, and it destroyed that statue, and then it says:

“But that rock grew unto a mountain and filled the earth.”

So Christianity, Christ, needs to come into dominion in this earth. It needs to grow, but it can only do that in oneness, not separated. There is something even beyond unity. Unity is great, and God commands a blessing where there is unity, but we need to come to that place beyond unity, to oneness, and allow God to function as an operational, functional being and body in this earth.

Daniel 2 explains to us that there is a kingdom that will be established in the time of other kings, established in this earth. We can't wait and think that one day in heaven there is victory. In this earth, we need to achieve what God says in His Word He wants to achieve, and that is to come into His fullness, into authority in this earth.

I'm not going to share all the detail – you can read a bit below. But what is it going to require from us? Let me state maybe four or five things that it's going to require from us in terms of what God wants to achieve through us this year.

Firstly, it's going to require clear-cut decisions. It's as if there cannot be any grey areas. We need to decide what is in and what is out. We need to decide that the purpose of God in us and through us is our only priority. First and foremost, we need to live for the purpose God wants to establish in us and through us in this earth, and everything else in our lives needs to come in line with that.

We need to ensure that our time, our relationships, our finances, our focus, our effort – everything needs to come in line with what we say is our priority, and that is to put the Kingdom of God first and what God wants to establish through us. We know that in Revelation it says to be lukewarm is just not good enough anymore – to be lukewarm, God will vomit us out. Matthew 6:33 says, first seek the Kingdom of God, and then everything else shall follow. We know that, but we need to help each other come to a place where we can actually live it.

Secondly, we need to ensure that we put God's agenda first. It's not about our own agenda. It's not about building our own little kingdoms and having our own ambitions. We need to ensure that we put the body as a whole first – not denominations, not separation, not a mentality of whatever we are doing being superior to what anybody else is doing, because that mentality of superiority brings isolation.

Then, as I mentioned earlier, we need to have a mindset this year about purification. We need to remove anything from our lives that is distracting or preventing us from making God our everything, and it might be different for every one of us. You need to hear for yourself from the Holy Spirit what is keeping you from doing everything in your power to put God first, set aside that time, and be able to do what God expects from you.

So some of us need to cut out television. Some of us need to cut down on sport. Whatever it is, make sure whatever is distracting you and preventing you from putting God first, from spending time in the Word and in the Spirit, that we get rid of it.

We know that Jesus died for our sins and His blood cleansed us, and Romans says that righteousness is a gift we receive. We know we have received that gift, but that doesn't mean we should not aspire to actually living righteousness. So we know Jesus has paid the price, but it doesn't take away from the fact that God expects us to live righteous. We need to strive to live righteous, and again, remove anything from our lives that is preventing us from doing it.

We need to implement discipline in our lives. We need to discipline our thoughts, our words, our actions, according to the Word and according to His purpose. And although it's personal for every one of us, we need to understand that we cannot do it on our own.

We need to make ourselves accountable. We need to surround ourselves with a few people with whom we share what is our priority, what changes we need to implement in our life, and make ourselves accountable to those people. That's one of the key factors we need to understand: we don't belong to ourselves anymore. We belong to God, which means we belong to Christ, we belong to the body, and we cannot just do what we want, where we want, when we want. We need to make ourselves accountable in the body of Christ in terms of what we need to change, what we need to achieve.

But that's great news. It's not a burden. It is a pleasure and a privilege to have people around you who put the body of Christ first, who put the Kingdom first, and who are willing to help you achieve what you have made a priority in your life.

“This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.”

So when we function in Him, we function in Christ, we function in that light. Everything that is brought into the light is destroyed by that light, so no darkness can exist in it. The things that are kept hidden are given power in darkness, but when we bring them to the surface, when we share with each other, when we are transparent, then these things come to the front. We help each other, we overcome, we move forward, and whatever those things are that have held some sort of power over us and disabled us, and brought condemnation, we bring it to the light and make sure it is destroyed.

So whatever it is that you need to get rid of in your life – maybe you are struggling with pornography, maybe with other addictions – bring it to the light. Share it with mature people who can deal with it in the right way and support you, get all of these things to the light so that you can overcome it and move on. Our focus is not condemnation. Our focus is not sin. But we need to move on. We need to function in the light, and whatever is withholding us from doing that, we need to get rid of it.

I mentioned earlier that we need to do everything in our power to protect. Remember the pictures I've shared with you? There is something on the inside which is precious and valuable, and we need to protect it, like those inside the city. Like with Jerusalem, when they rebuilt those walls, the Jews came and stayed inside, and if people were even married to someone who was not a Jew, they were not allowed inside. They focused on that purification, they focused on that protection. Like this pot with the melted gold inside, we need to take up the responsibility to protect that which God has entrusted to us.

We cannot just accept that the world dictates to us anymore, that the world sets the standards, and that the world prevents us from living the fullness of the responsibility we have received in Christ. We need to live that fullness, and there's no guarantee it will not go hand in hand with persecution. But then so be it – that will be an indication that we are doing what we should be doing. We cannot let the world dictate to us anymore in terms of what Christianity is and how to live it.

We need to act with boldness. We need to act with conviction as the Holy Spirit leads us. Remember, the Holy Spirit needs to lead us in conviction, and then we function in that conviction, being bold, being courageous.

“Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you, and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it.”

We need to bear the fruit of the Kingdom.

“So I answered them and said to them, 'The God of heaven Himself will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build, but you have no heritage or right or memorial in Jerusalem.'”

I would like to conclude: in this year, 2019, there will certainly be a separation between what is on the inside and what is on the outside – a clear separation. Certain things we did in the past, ways we operated in the past, will just not work anymore. We need to come to a place where there's total dedication, purification, and focus on God, on His Kingdom. We cannot stand with one foot in the world and one foot in the Kingdom. There is a total focus, dedication, moving over into the Kingdom, and adjusting everything in our lives to focus on that.

There will be a clear separation. Those who still want to be in the world as well will see that they're not going to be able to manifest His presence in the way they used to before. There is a move, a new era that has come to us, and what is required of us – the dedication, the purification – is certainly different now from what it was in the past. It's a time to decide, and it's a time to follow through that decision with action.

We need to decide: are we serious, or are we playing church-church? Are we stuck in religion, or are we really going to dedicate our lives to God and change everything in our lives to support and surround that, and be sure that we live the Kingdom in this world, and allow God to achieve what He wants to achieve? Listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying, and adjust what is required for Him to be able to do what needs to happen.

I pray for you that in this 2019, God will bless you and your family, and I pray that the Holy Spirit will stir up in your spirit a desire and an ability, and enable you to make strong, clear-cut decisions to dedicate your life to Christ, to make His Kingdom your first priority, and to live accordingly, and to live unto God this year like never before.
