God wants His best for you this year. What will make us different in this world? A life lived by the Spirit. What we need to achieve on this earth is only possible by the Spirit. It is by the Spirit that the nature and the ability of God is revealed to us. Having a relationship with Him is critical to our purpose on this earth. The Holy Spirit is a person. He searches the things of the Father and reveals these things to us. It is possible to quench and grieve the Holy Spirit. We are to have communion with Him. Communion or Koinonia means to have interaction, participation, intercourse, fellowship and a gift jointly contributed. Communion with the Holy Spirit is intimate. It is impossible to have a significant, meaningful relationship with the Holy Spirit without the Word of God. The Holy Spirit will always be consistent with the Word of God, which is the sword of the Spirit. (Ephesians 6:17) Live your life by the Spirit and experience God’s best for your life.
